Me está gustando bastante. Empieza con el blues pero luego siguen más cursos.

El de blues va por la primera semana, supongo que todavía os podéis apuntar si os interesa.

Yo la verdad que tengo algunos libros pendientes y que leo a veces cuando me sobra algo de tiempo, así que poco en general.
También estoy haciendo otro de improvisación pero en música clásica del IEM aunque por mi cuenta.

Yo tengo también bastantes buenos libros pero la verdad es que participar en un curso con más gente con la que intercambiar información ha hecho que mi motivación suba muchísimo.

Otra de las cosas que me gusta de este curso es que todos los temas son temas muy conocidos de la historia del jazz, nada de temas propios del profesor, como suele ser habitual en los métodos de jazz.

Por lo que veo, el curso es gratuito pero sólo durante 8 semanas. ¿Es así?
Según lo que has enviado la duración sería bastante más de 8 semanas, ¿has tenido que pagar para continuar más allá de esas 8 semanas?

Pues parece interesante, aunque por lo que yo se de jazz hay que hacer un huevo de ejercicios para ir acoplando mentalmente los acordes de 7º, 9º , 11 , 13 , cadencias II V I, ritmos sincopados walking bass, tropecientas escalas diferentes a las clásicas, etc, en eso que mandas veo muchas obras pero ¿hay ejercicios?

Tambien veo una cosa curiosa aparece este señor:
Aebersold

Que parece ser el rey del material jazzístico actualmente, me sale por todos los lados en todos los libros.

Yo ahora estoy con varios uno son los famosos libros de Oscar Peterson de minuetos y ejercicios, otros llamados Jazz Hannon, que los hay de dos autores estos son de un tal Leo Alfassy y tiene un libro por cada estilo y el típico de Tim Richards muy completito y una maravillosa edición de Schott

Son varios cursos, cada uno de distinta duración, pero todos gratis. Tienes la opción de pagar para tener acceso ilimitado pero también te puedes descargar todos los contenidos así que yo no voy pagar.

Por ahora no sabría decirte mucho sobre los ejercicios, acabo de empezar. Por ahora los que he hecho son de improvisación usando diferentes escalasy diferentes acompañamientos basados en el blues.

Estos cursos están orientados a aprender a tocar en trio, por eso los playalong de Aebersold, pero también toca algo el piano solo. Aebersold tiene editados muchos libros con el CD para tocar encima. Yo suelo usar la app ireal pro para generar el acompañamiento.

Sobre libros de ejercicios de Jazz te recomiendo Comprehensive Jazz Techniques de Bert Ligon. Es inmenso. También trae algo de teoría.

Los de Tim Richards lo tengo todos. Son buenísimos. Pero el curso este motiva más por lo de aprender en grupo.
